These photographs are about embracing the vulnerability that is life as an artist, a mother, a partner, a photographer. I began this series as a releasing point for myself — the freeing pulse of an unpolished heart. Embracing the beauty and strength of being vulnerable, I am moving away from thematic rules, negative mental constructs, and what society feels I should look like, be like, see like, feel like. I have created this space of imagery as a way to celebrate the power of vulnerability.
